CamShare provides a solution. Solution to congestion; solution to rising travel costs, solution to increasing CO₂ emissions.

If everyone got a lift rather than driving alone just one day a week the number of cars would reduce by 20% - more than enough for us experience a real difference in congestion. The icing on the cakes is that car sharers are less stressed, richer, and feel really good about reducing their CO₂ emissions!

CamShare.com is the latest venture in the CamShare story which began in 2002.  It is a joint initiative between Cambridgeshire County Council and the Travel for Work Partnership who have appointed the nationally acclaimed Liftshare.com organisation to run the system.

The new CamShare not only provides employers with a greener commuting solution for their staff it is also open to members of the public who can find car share matches for all  types of journeys.

In addition CamShare includes BikeBUDi. Using this tool you can now find someone to show you the best cycle route and/or to provide you with company for your cycle journey.
